(YOFO) is the North West regional youth voice forum and network. It is co-produced with a group of young people known as the Steering Group (SG).

So how does it work?

The YOFO steering group is made up of 12 young people, they bring together 120 YOFO attendees from 23 local authorities across the North West, who then influence thousands of young people in their local areas.

Each year a new Steering Group is elected and takes on distinct roles of leadership like including planning YOFO’s, writing to guest speakers, managing social media and so much more.

In 2020, we celebrated YOFO’s 10th birthday and are extremely proud of the achievements Youthforia and the Steering Group have made.

Through YOFO we also support our Members of Youth Parliament (MYPS) to to meet, discuss local issues and work on nationally selected Make Your Mark topics.

We are hugely proud of the amount of time and commitment Young People have given to YOFO over the last ten years, between them clocking up over 26,000 hours!
