Mental & Physical Health

Bee Heard

We work in partnership with 42nd Street to bring young people aged 14-25 across Greater Manchester together to have a voice in Mental Health Services. The group provides youth scrutiny in the decision making of Greater Manchester Children and Young People's Mental Health Board.

I joined Bee Heard as I was really encouraged to see that the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Board was keen to have our voices involved in their decision making process. young people’s lived experience is invaluable and combined with the voices of the experts, we can make vital social change which will hopefully help Manchester and Bee-yond. :)

Working on 3 core areas the group provides opportunities for young people to engage and provide consultations to mental health services and campaigns within Greater Manchester, education sessions, and youth voice advocacy sessions.

The group meets each month looking at a different theme.

Come and join us and make a difference!
