Although I got my degree in Illustration, my true driving force in life is to help people. In my role as a youth worker I’ve had the opportunity to work with young LGBTQ+ people, using my own experience as a trans woman, and helping a community that has helped me so much.
My role as a youth worker began at the LGBTQ+ group organised by Warrington Borough Council (TAGS), my role at Youth Focus began in January 2023 where I am a Youth Voice Worker, promoting the voice of young people.
Being a youth worker has enabled me to give a louder voice to young people who are so often ignored, helping them to shape the world they live in to work more effectively for them.
