Jess Eastoe (She/Her)

Sessional Youth Voice Project Worker

I was first a teacher of Social Sciences before retraining in Youth Work, as my passion for youth voice exceeded that of a classroom. My qualifications are in sociology, criminology, youth practice and education.

I currently work as the GreaterSport Young people Equality Lead, and I’m a self employed consultant for youth practice across GM, to ensure our leaders think about young people when creating policy. I specialised in empowering underrepresented people to be at the forefront of social change and activism.

I have dedicated my own activism to focus on getting young people involved in politics and community work to allow for proactive change, with young people taking a lead.
