I moved over to Liverpool from Northern Ireland in 2016 to start my university journey- from there, I started volunteering in a local youth group alongside my studies, and realised youth work was the career I wanted to work towards! I then completed my MA Youth Work and Community Development from Liverpool Hope University in 2021.
I have joined the Youth Voice Lead role after experience of local level youth and community work, working on youth projects and community empowerment. This reminded me of my experiences in my home town, where there was a huge sense of community and supporting each other which I wanted to recreate in my work.
